  • For the 2014-2015 season, Capital Wave is fielding U16 girls and U16 boys teams in Water Polo Canada's inaugural National League. In addition, Capital Wave is fielding a Competitive Youth (U14) team. Four teams will also participate in a Montreal Recreational League this season (U17 Boys, U17 Girls, U14 Boys and U14 Girls).   • Congratulations to our competitive girls' team for going undefeated in the Carleton University Invitational Tournament. (October 2014)

  • Capital Wave was well represented on this year's Team Ontario. Congratulations to Megan MacCormac, Jillian Stringer, Floranne Carroll, Katie Allerton, Emma McGinnis, Jewelle Crocker, Case Langevin, Maddie Hemstreet, Valeria Rojas, and alternates Adele Scarlett and Juliette Belanger for being named to the Team Ontario Girls' team and Sean Legg and Aidan Kronberg who were named to the Team Ontario Boys' Team. They competed in the 2016 Youth Cup held in Montreal, July 12 - 20.

  • Head Coach Celso has been named assistant coach for the 19U Women's National Team, Coach Rodrigo has been named assistant coach for Team Ontario-Boys, and Coach Veronica has been named as team manager for Team Ontario-Girls. (July 2014)

  • Capital Wave 16U girls take home provincial bronze medal while 16U boys place a club best performance by finishing in fourth place.

  • February 13-16 Coach Rodrigo joined the Peruvian National Water Polo Team for a Four Nations Tournament, in Lima, Peru that included teams from Argentina, Chile and Ecuador. In its first game, Peru won over Chile, 15-8, with Rodrigo scoring five goals and assisting on another four. He was interviewed by local TV, where he mentioned Capital Wave and how happy he is to play for the Peruvian National Team. Argentina ended up winning the tournament, beating Peru 11-7 in the final. Capital Wave in our Community
  • Over 50 athletes and family members participated in the Terry Fox Run along Colonel By Drive, September 14. In addition to being a fun social event with walkers, runners, cyclists and roller-bladers, it was a great way to show Capital Wave's support for our community and this worthwhile cause. The club raised over $550 for cancer research. (September 2014)

  • Capital Wave played host to a group of youth, aged 14 - 17, who were in Ottawa as part of the Encounters with Canada program. With assistance from some of our competitive athletes, students from across Canada were introduced to water polo. And after one short introduction with our athletes, some of the Encounter youths expressed an interest in learning more about the sport when they returned home. (August 2014)

  • Once again Capital Wave participated in the Canada Day Weekend Community Cup soccer tournament. The Community Cup welcomes, connects and integrates newcomers to the community through sport and volunteerism. (30 June 2014)
