Program Descriptions

Capital Wave's water polo programs are designed to focus on fun and fitness for all boys and girls aged 6 and up. In the Initiation and Development programs, athletes learn the rules of the game and basic skills such as swimming strokes and ball handling. They also improve their swimming skills and participate in local scrimmages.

For those looking for more of a challenge, our competitive programs are targeted to athletes who enjoy the thrill of testing their water polo skills against similar-minded athletes. This is full contact water polo with all the excitement that it brings. Training focuses on going beyond the basics to give athletes the necessary individual and team skills to ultimately succeed in provincial, national, and international competitions.

Please note: Athletes may play above their age level, but not below it.
