WAVE athletes at the Regional Development Swim Camp held at Perth
It’s been a busy couple of weeks: Mini-Loo, Wave-a-thon, Petawawa, Regional Training Camp, Shadow Cup and move-ups.
And WAVE is not finished yet for the year. The Paul Taylor WP Tournament is this weekend and the coaching staff are excited to see our players develop and prepare for the Provincial level tournaments in the Spring. And then there’s the Perth Candy Cane meet — it’s approaching capacity and the deadline to sign-up is today at 10 PM. This meet will have distance events (Friday night) and relays and everything in between on Saturday morning. Register now (LINK)

Petawawa
Congratulations to all that competed in Petawawa last weekend. We had three new club records at the meet –
- Ariane Gomes in the 25 BK
- Chiara McDonald in the 25 FR
- Francois Hebert in the 25 BK
Well done!
We also had some great swims (and some great dives – Rosie!) from our younger JWBs and from our solo Mini-Wave swimmer who managed to squeeze in 4 swims instead of the maximum 3 — now that’s keen! All the results are here (LINK).
We hope to return to Petawawa again in the winter. It’s always a great visit.
Life is always better in the water,
Coach Fraser
