Capital Wave’s Pre-Season BOOT CAMP
CIBC Run for the CureĀ is back!
September 7th – 10th, 2021
After being zoomed-out of online workouts, we are happy to bring back our Pre-Season Boot Camp this year. Our Boot Camp is a 4-Day fundraiser dry-land training camp that goes towards a great cause. So far we have raised close to $1,500 for CIBC’s Run for the Cure. This activity will involve a number of physical exercises that use body weight only and the famous incline hill.Ā The purpose of the boot camp will be to begin preparing athletes for the upcoming season with the intention that many of these exercises will continue throughout the year as part of a pre-water session/dry-land training and warmup.Ā Athletes will be encouraged to complete the exercises to the best of their ability with a focus on form and technique to avoid injury.Ā Athletes will be encouraged to continue these exercises on non-water session days and can be given an exercise program to complete on their own if desired.

Website and Media Permission
We enjoy telling the community about the many positive things taking place within our club. However, we want to strike the right balance between getting our message out and respecting the wishes of parents/guardians who do not want their child’s name or photo displayed on the Internet. Photos, video footage and names are displayed at the coachesā/ Board of Directorsā discretion and are not to be used for commercial gain. There are a number of times during the year when athletes wish to be photographed, interviewed or videotaped (e.g. tournaments, special events, practices). Parents understand that photos taken at this event may be used on social media and/or website.
