Capital Wave Swim and Water Polo believes all athletes, coaches, officials and volunteers have the right, at all times, to participate in training and competition in a safe and inclusive environment that is free of abuse, harassment or discrimination. We advocate a Safe Sport environment within all our programs, activities and events. Our policies are designed to support equal opportunity and prohibit discriminatory practices.
Capital Wave Swim and Water Polo Club is committed to providing an environment in which all individuals are treated with respect. As such, all our policies continue to be assessed and updated to ensure they are consistent with Safe Sport principles, including:
- Athletes, parents, coaches and volunteers must sign a Code of Conduct to clarify that there is an expectation, at all times, of appropriate behaviour that is consistent with the values of sportsmanship, athleticism, fair play, teamwork and fun. (https://docs.google.com/
