RiverKeeper Wrap Up

Over 20 WAVE athletes and parents swam the Ottawa RiverKeeper race last weekend in support of a cleaner river for all to enjoy. It was a great experience for all. The conditions were a little choppy and there were some reports of difficulty navigating the course but everyone came home safe and elated from their accomplishment. RiverKeeper – The Training Continues

This morning the boys swam a 1.5K in calm waters -- with a final sprint at the end captured beautifully in the photo gallery below. The boys did a short 1.2 KM swim tonight in rough water. Not a bad start for the WAVE crew. The next practice session is Friday morning at 7:30 AM. Volunteers Needed for the Riverkeeper Swim

Hello all, The Riverkeeper Open Water Swim is back for 2022. We are looking for volunteers to help with this event.  We are in need of lifeguards, paddlers and volunteers on the ground.
